Organize and Cut Costs in 2020, PLUS 2 Giveaways!

By Miranda Gonzalez, the Mac Kid publisher for the Mansfield to Burleson area in North Texas December 10, 2019

Good Morning! I hope your 2020 is off to a good start and that you are getting back into routine after the holidays. I finally got my tree taken down, but the stockings are still hung. I'm going to have to spend a little more time on the house this weekend, for sure.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the Rise and Shine workshop in Grapevine. Joyce Shulman was speaking, and if you don't know, she is the founder of Macaroni Kid! So, yeah, it was pretty cool to be able to meet her and hear what she had to say. She is an amazing woman with a TON of ideas! She has also created 99 Walks. One of the articles I am including in this newsletter is actually a contest you can win from 99 Walks, so make sure to enter, and good luck! (That's her right next to me in the picture, holding the yellow shoe...I am the tall one!)

Speaking of contests, I am also running one this week over on my Facebook page. Our awesome sponsor, Mary Garcia of The Spanglish Casita, is generously giving away an Introductory Kit of Essential Oils, as well as a year long membership. Make sure you hop over to her website and take a look around, and then come back and enter the giveaway BY CLICKING HERE. She is also hosting a Vision Board workshop tomorrow! Check out the details on the Events Calendar, or just scroll down to the events section of the newsletter, it will be the first one listed.

I hope you have some plans to stay warm and dry this weekend, I hear there's a big storm coming through. I accidentally mentioned snow, and now my poor kids can't talk about anything else! That's what I get for reading the ever changing Texas weather forecast out loud 🤦‍♀️ Make sure you check out the events on the calendar, I'm sure there is something fun going on that will keep you indoors!

I hope you have a great week!
